8 AM | Rio Grande Park
New location this year in Rio Grande Park!
Kick off your Independence Day with the 38th Annual Boogie’s Buddy Race. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to start the day, there's a race for everyone.

10 AM – 11 AM | Paepcke Park
Kids can get creative and decorate their bikes before joining the parade.
This event is for kids only, and helmets are mandatory. Remember, no unicycles, scooters, or pets are allowed. Parents can walk alongside their kids but cannot ride.
10 AM – 2 PM | Cooper Walking Mall
Join the community in celebrating Independence Day at the Cooper Walking Mall. This free event features local organizations coming together to celebrate.
Before Parade Start
Don't miss the thrilling Tiger Squadron Aircraft Flyover before the parade begins. Look up at the sky for this exciting display.
11 AM – 12 PM | Downtown Core
The heart of Aspen's 4th of July celebrations, the parade is a must-see. Dress in your best red, white, and blue and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The parade route begins on Main Street, turning South onto Hunter Street, then West onto Cooper Avenue, continuing to Galena Street, and looping around to Hopkins Avenue, Mill Street, and Hyman Avenue.
12 PM – 3 PM | Koch Park
Head to Koch Park for a classic 4th of July BBQ hosted by the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club. Enjoy food from the Little Nell, live music, a beer garden, wine and tequila bar, bouncy castles, a dunk tank, yard games, face painting, and more! Proceeds benefit AVSC athletes. 4 PM | Benedict Music Tent
Celebrate with stirring patriotic music at the Benedict Music Tent. This free concert by the Aspen Music Festival and School band is a cherished local tradition. Find more information here.
Time TBD | Wagner Park
Cap off your day with a community concert at Wagner Park. Hosted by Belly Up Aspen, this event is perfect for relaxing on the grass with a blanket or camping chair while enjoying live music.
